The Hinterland Market Trail

A number of markets across the Glasshouse Country and Hinterland areas have combined to form the Hinterland Market Trail.

The Beerburrum Country Markets, Montville Market, Beerwah Tower Green Market, Witta Market, Mapleton Country Market, Maleny Sunday Market, and Mooloolah Valley Four Seasons Market are all part of the newly formed Hinterland Market Trail.

Beerburrum Hall Country Markets

Date: 1st Saturday of each month

Location: Beerburrum Hall, Beerburrum School of Arts Assoc Inc.

Time: 8.00am to 12.00 noon

The Beerburrum Hall Country Markets will feature a multitude of crafts, arts, local growers, and showcase many local cottage industries, a perfect stop before exploring the numerous Glass House Mountain trails.


Montville Market

Date: 2nd Saturday of each month

Location: Montville Village Hall, Village Green, Montville

Time: 7.30am to 12.00pm noon

The Montville Market, which began in July 2009, is held on the second Saturday morning of each month in and around the historic Village Hall.

The market has stalls selling locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables; flowers and plants; fresh bread and cakes; fair trade coffee and handmade craft items. It boasts a delicious, wholesome pancake breakfast to sustain the dedicated market goer.


Beerwah Tower Green Market

Date: 2nd Saturday of each month

Location: Beerwah CWA Hall and surrounding Tower Green on Simpson Street, Beerwah

Time: 8.00am to 12.00pm noon

At Beerwah Tower Green Market, you will discover the delicious ‘Favourites’ jam and relish range celebrating the old skills the CWA is famous for, and a variety of local and unique handmade goods. You’ll find freshly cut flowers, plants and locally grown fresh pines along with an abundance of art, craft, homeware and jewellery stalls.


Mapleton Country Market

Date: 4th Saturday of each month

Location: Mapleton Hall, 31 Obi Obi Road, Mapleton

Time: 8.00am to 12.00pm noon

You’ll find an array of handcrafts, produce, honey, and delicious waffles at the Mapleton Country Markets, with beautiful colourful hand knitting from Maree inside the hall.


Maleny Sunday Market

Date: Every Sunday

Location: Maleny RSL, Bunya Street, Maleny

Time: 8.00am to 2.00pm – Open rain, hail or shine

At the Maleny Sunday Market you will find fresh produce, an organic Fair Trade Cafe, locally produced arts and crafts, antiques and collectables, books, jewellery, candles, soap, jams and pickles, hot food, crystals, massage, tarot readings and lots more.


Mooloolah Valley Four Seasons Market

Date: Once each Season on a Saturday

Location: Mooloolah Public Hall, 42 Bray Rd, Mooloolah

Time: 8.00am to 1.00pm

The Mooloolah Valley Four Seasons Market takes place four times a year at the Mooloolah Public Hall, 42 Bray Rd, Mooloolah from 8am to 1pm. Shop at the local markets before exploring the old Dularcha Railway Tunnel built in 1891.

Witta Market

Date: 3rd Saturday of each month

Location: The Old Witta School, 316 Witta Road, Witta

Time: 7.00am to 12.00pm noon

Witta Market showcases the best in small producers on the Blackall Range. Seasonal fruit and vegetables and locally made value added products. The market also sells local organic pork, beef and chicken, vegetable and herb seedlings, organic dry goods, mulch hay, Obi Obi valley olive oils, honey, locally made pies, macadamia oil body products and soaps and so much more. There’s a great breakfast and good coffee.


Crystal Waters Country Markets

Date: First Saturday of each month

Location: 65 Kilcoy Lane, Conondale

Time: 8.00am to 1.00pm

The Crystal Waters Country Markets are a friendly and relaxing market that provides a wide variety of produce and foods.


The Original Eumundi Markets

Dates: Wednesday 8am to 2pm & Saturday 7am to 2pm

Location: 80 Memorial Drive, Eumundi QLD 4562

Yandina Country Markets

Date: Every Saturday

Location: Yandina Sports Ground, North Street, Yandina
Yandina is about 24 minutes drive from Montville, or 36 minutes from Maleny.
Parking is quite good too.

Time: 6.00am to 12.00pm noon

Established July 18, 1990, the Yandina Country Market specializes in Plants, Local Produce, Second-hand Items and in recent years, Deli Produce.

The Yandina Markets are perhaps the largest of the local markets, with a very wide range of goods on offer, from locally grown fruit and vegetables, plants and flowers, freshly baked bread, olives, spices, drinks, trash and treasure items, collectables, garden tools and much more.
